Calculation Rules & Disclaimer
- This calculator provides an estimation. Basic Pay is rounded up to the nearest ₹10 at each stage (initial, promotion). Annual increment is calculated as CEILING(ROUNDDOWN(BP*1.03,0),10).
- A standard annual increment of 3% on Basic Pay is applied each year in July, subject to eligibility based on joining/promotion date. Employees joining or getting a promotion between Jan 1st and June 30th will receive their next increment in July of the following year.
- If promotion/revision dates are entered, the new basic pay is used from that month, and subsequent annual increments apply to this revised basic pay, following the eligibility rule.
- The DA difference percentages used are derived from standard chart data for the ROPA 2009 period (01/01/2008 to 31/12/2019).
